What is the biggest change in the Disney company since Snow White - In my Opinion it is how they can be watched - furthermore their increase in inclusivity and diversity across the company - this change is shown in Snow Whites beauty being relative to her skin tone, a trait that would not be used in todays Disney however at the time the Disney staff were almost entirely white and had a very non diverse company (however they did employ women for the ink and paint department). In the new live action remake, they changed the meaning of her name to describe the day she was born (when it was snowing) - Shang-Chi however has a much more diverse setup with a famous Asian American actor in Simu Liu - and a Japanese-American director Destin Daniel Crettin - DJ Snake a hip hop producer as well being used in the soundtrack for a Disney film. Snow White uses opera singers and wants exclu8sivity (gave the 15 yr old singer sign a contract to ever sing for a non Disney film again) and now they use Hip-Hop and even put Simu Liu in the music video.
